MyOKWU: How To Select My Room

Getting Started


Once logged in, click on Student in the top menu bar, then select the Residence Life section of your portal.


 

Selecting a Session


1.    Choose an open session (for example, the 2025 Fall session)


 

Room Selection

Browsing Available Rooms

1.    Select the "Browse Rooms" link


2.    Filter rooms based on your preferences: 


  •        Select location filters (Example: Main Campus)

  •       Select building filters (Example: North Lawn Building)


3.    Review the available rooms 


Making Your Selection

1. Viewing Room Details Select the name of a room to view more details

   

         On the details page, you can see important information about the available room


2.  Once you've decided on a room, click the "Select Room" button


      A confirmation window will appear: 


            Notifying you that your selection is final


            Asking you to confirm your choice


3. Confirm your selection


        The system will display your selected room on the confirmation page



Important Notes


•    Room availability changes in real-time


•    The selection process is only available during the specified timeframe


•    Room selections are typically final, so choose carefully
