MyOKWU: Registering for Courses

First, log into MyOKWU at https://my.okwu.edu. The login button is in the top right corner. 


Once logged in, click on Student in the top menu bar, then select Registration in the left-hand menu. On the Registration page, click on the Register link at the bottom of the section. Ensure you have the correct term selected in the drop-down box at the top of the section. 



If you are on a smaller screen, such as a phone or tablet, after signing in, click on the three-bar menu in the top left corner and select Student. Once on the Student page, scroll down until you see the Registration button. 



If you have a hold on your account, you will see a message that says, "Registration not open," and the new term and year won't be available in the drop-down menu. Clicking on the Holds button will display why you have a hold on your account and what you need to do to resolve it. 



Once you reach the Registration menu, you can search by class prefix, course code, or other criteria to find the needed courses by clicking on the Course Search tab underneath the Year - Term selection dropdown. 



Once you find the course(s) you need, click the plus icon next to it to add it to your cart. It will then show a thumbs-up icon next to it to indicate that it's in your cart. When you have selected the courses you need, click on the green Registration Checkout button near the top on the far right of the screen. 



A dialogue box will show up with the courses you've selected. Check the boxes next to the classes you need, then click on "Request Advisor Approval."
